PVC pressure faucet takeoff adapters are PVC-U fittings with a solvent-weld spigot at one end and a female BSP thread at the other. They connect a matching PVC pressure fitting socket to a male BSP threaded valve, pump, filter, sprinkler component or other compatible fitting or equipment.
The spigot inserts into a matching PVC pressure fitting socket and is joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ. The female BSP end accepts a matching male BSP thread.
PVC fitting sizes are nominal, so the stated spigot size is different from its measured outside diameter. Confirm both the matching socket size and BSP thread size before ordering.
