Puretec TankSafe 5L is a chlorine-free rainwater tank purifier for treating up to 80,000L of stored rainwater at the standard dosage rate. It is used to disinfect tank water and kill up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria and viruses when applied correctly and allowed the required contact time.

TankSafe is tasteless and odourless when used as directed, making it an alternative to chlorine dosing for rainwater tank disinfection. The standard dosage is 65mL per 1,000L of tank water, with 24 hours contact time required after dosing. Test the treated water after 24 hours with TankSafe test strips and continue monitoring regularly, especially after significant rainfall.
