Puretec TankSafe rainwater tank purifiers are chlorine-free rainwater tank disinfectant products designed to help treat stored rainwater. They are used to kill up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria and viruses in tank water when applied at the correct dosage and allowed the required contact time.

This range includes TankSafe 2L and 5L sizes for different tank volumes. The standard dosage is 65mL per 1,000L of tank water, with a 24 hour contact time required after dosing. Use TankSafe test strips after treatment to confirm dosing level, and continue testing every 2–3 weeks or after significant rainfall. Always follow the product label, safety directions and storage instructions.
