Puretec MPX heavy duty single filter housings are extra heavy duty water filter housings for compatible MaxiPlus 4.5" diameter cartridges. They are used for whole house, whole building and higher flow filtration applications where the selected cartridge, water source, pressure and flow rate suit the system design.

The MPX range includes MPX100B for 4.5" x 10" cartridges and MPX300B for 4.5" x 20" cartridges. Both models use 1" BSP connections, include a rust-proof anti-flex aluminium wall mount bracket and are suitable for internal or external installation. Filter cartridges are not included and must be selected separately to suit the required filtration duty.

MPX100B suits 4.5" x 10" cartridges. MPX300B suits 4.5" x 20" cartridges.

1" BSP inlet and outlet connections.

✓ Flow Rate
MPX100B has 80 Lpm flow. MPX300B has 160 Lpm flow. Flow rate is dependent on the cartridge used.

✓ Pressure Range
0–900 kPa operating pressure. Where line pressure exceeds 500 kPa, an approved pressure limiting device must be installed.

✓ Temperature Range
0–38°C operating temperature. Protect from freezing.

✓ Installation Type
Suitable for internal or external installation. Avoid direct sunlight and protect the housing from water hammer.

✓ Mounting
Integrated rust-proof anti-flex aluminium wall mount bracket.

✓ Not Included
Filter cartridges, isolation valves, pressure limiting valve, backflow prevention valve and connecting pipework are not included unless supplied separately.

✓ Recommended Cartridge Selection
MPX100B guide examples include PX05MP1 for dirt, rust and sediment on mains water, CB10MP1 for taste and odour on mains water, PL05MP1 for dirt, rust and sediment on rainwater, and DP10MP1 for taste and odour on rainwater. MPX300B guide examples include PX05MP2, CB10MP2, PL05MP2 and DP10MP2 for the same application categories.

✓ Cartridge Maintenance
Replace cartridges every 6–12 months, depending on water quality and usage, or sooner if flow reduces, taste returns or odour returns.

✓ Installation
Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber and must follow local plumbing requirements. Use PTFE thread seal tape only; pipe sealants must not be used.

✓ Water Quality Note
Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

✓ Warranty
10 year Puretec warranty – 1 year parts and labour plus 9 years parts only.
