The 13mm Low Density Poly Pipe is supplied in a 25 metre coil for low-pressure garden, landscape and irrigation water-distribution systems. It is suited to drip irrigation, micro-spray systems and small sprinkler lateral lines, particularly downstream of an irrigation valve or suitable pressure-control device.
Manufactured from low density polyethylene, the pipe connects to 13mm LD poly barbed fittings inserted into the pipe bore. Secure each connection with a 13mm ratchet clamp to retain the pipe on the fitting.
The supplied pressure-temperature information gives this pipe a maximum operating pressure of 300 kPa or 3 BAR at 35°C. Allowable operating pressure reduces as the pipe and water temperature increase, so system pressure and operating conditions should be checked before installation.
The stated 13mm size is a nominal product reference and should not be treated as a confirmed measured internal or outside diameter. Confirm the pipe dimensions where compatibility with an existing pipe, fitting or irrigation system is important.
Low Density Poly Pipe is intended for low-pressure irrigation distribution and should not be used as a constant mains-pressure pipe. Where continuous mains pressure or a higher pressure class is required, select a suitable pressure-rated metric poly pipe or PVC pressure pipe system.
