WD-40 Specialist Lawn & Garden General Use Lubricant is used on exposed joints and parts where garden equipment needs lubrication and protection. It reduces friction between moving surfaces and helps protect metal against moisture-related rust and corrosion.

Applications include secateurs, branch loppers, lawn edgers, chainsaws, manual and power mowers, and suitable outdoor tap and sprinkler mechanisms. It can also clean metal surfaces during maintenance.

Switch off the power or motor and allow equipment to cool. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and work moving parts back and forth after lubrication. For rust protection, provide full coverage and leave the protective treatment in place. Test coatings and rubber on an inconspicuous area first, and follow the equipment owner's manual.
