Hunter NODE battery-operated controllers provide automatic irrigation control for sites where mains power is unavailable or difficult to access. Available across 1, 2, 4 and 6 station models, the NODE range is suited to valve boxes, isolated irrigation areas, temporary watering, remote garden zones and small reticulation systems.
The NODE range includes node-only controllers, single-station models supplied with a DC-latching solenoid, single-station controller and valve options, and kit options such as a 2 station controller with solenoid valves and manifold components. This makes the range useful for both replacing an existing battery controller and setting up a new valve box installation.
NODE controllers use standard Hunter push-button programming with 3 independent programs, 4 start times per program and station run times up to 6 hours. They also include seasonal adjustment, manual watering, programmable off up to 99 days and Easy Retrieve™ memory for saving and restoring a preferred watering schedule.
NODE controllers operate Hunter DC-latching solenoids only. Standard 24VAC irrigation solenoids will not operate with NODE controllers, so the correct DC-latching solenoids must be used when installing or replacing valves.
The NODE operates from one or two 9V alkaline batteries. A Hunter solar panel kit may be available by special order where maintenance-free power is required.
