This Netafim 3mm punch prepares low density poly supply pipe for the brown 8mm Miniscape/Landline straight take-off joiner. It makes the opening through the supply-pipe wall where a dripline branch is to be connected.
One barb of the take-off joiner pushes into the 3mm punched hole. The 8mm Miniscape/Landline dripline pushes over the other barb, forming the connection from the supply pipe to the dripline.
The punch can also prepare openings for other barbed drippers and micro-irrigation fittings that require a 3mm insertion hole. Its metal tip cuts into the tubing wall, while the curved plastic handle provides a firm grip.
