Use purpose-designed pipe cutters, ensure the PB pipe end is clean and free from burrs, insert the correct support sleeve, push the pipe fully into the fitting and tug back to confirm the grab ring has engaged. Copper pipe must be cut cleanly and prepared correctly before jointing.
