Brass gate valves provide manual isolation in threaded water pipework. Turning the handwheel raises or lowers an internal gate, opening or closing the passage through the valve. The full-bore design provides a clear water path when fully open. Female threaded connections in 15mm-100mm sizes accept matching male fittings.
The handwheel gives multi-turn control of the gate position. The valves are intended to isolate a section of pipework so water flow can be stopped for operation or servicing. Maximum pressure rating is 1600kPa; working temperature range is 1°C to 95°C.
Leave sufficient space around the handwheel to operate the valve and around the body for servicing. Select the correct thread size for the adjoining pipe fittings.
