DWV P traps and S and P combination traps connect fixture waste outlets to the sanitary drainage system while retaining a water seal inside the trap. This water seal helps prevent sewer gases and odours from travelling back through the waste outlet.
A P trap is used where the downstream waste connection runs horizontally towards a wall. Standard P traps provide the conventional layout, while Short Level P traps use a more compact design where reduced installation space is required.
S and P combination traps provide greater installation flexibility. They can be configured as a P trap for a wall waste connection or as an S trap where the waste pipe runs down through the floor.
The trap sections are joined using removable trap nuts and seals, allowing the trap to be disconnected for installation, cleaning or maintenance. Selected standard traps also include side appliance waste connection nipples.
Manufactured from polypropylene for non-pressure DWV applications and suitable for installations up to 60°C.
