DWV Snap-On Tee Reducing 100mm x 90mm is used to add a 90mm branch connection to existing PVC drainage pipe with a measured 100mm outside diameter without cutting the main pipe into two sections.
The curved snap-on body fits over the outside of the existing 100mm OD pipe and is solvent welded into position. Once the joint has secured, an appropriately sized hole saw is inserted through the open branch socket to cut an opening through the wall of the main pipe. The cut-out and any loose material are then removed.
The reducing 90mm female branch socket fits over branch pipe with a measured 90mm outside diameter. The branch pipe is solvent welded into the socket after the opening has been cut.
The stated 100mm x 90mm sizes refer to measured pipe outside diameters rather than nominal DWV sizing. The 100mm size refers to the existing main pipe and the 90mm size refers to the branch pipe.
The snap-on body and branch socket are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. Suitable for compatible horizontal or vertical non-pressure drainage pipework.
