PVC DWV Side Access Junction 45° FF L.H. 100mm is used to connect a 100mm branch pipe into a matching main PVC DWV pipe run at a 45° angle while providing access to the inside of the line.
The junction has three female sockets. Two sockets continue the 100mm main pipe in a straight line, while the third socket connects the 100mm branch at 45°.
All three sockets fit over 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter.
The access cap is positioned on the left-hand side of the junction. The cap can be removed when access is required for inspection, cleaning or clearing the pipework and refitted afterwards.
The sockets are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
