PVC DWV side and rear access junctions are used to connect a branch pipe into a main PVC DWV pipe run while providing access to the inside of the line for inspection, cleaning or clearing blockages.
Each junction has three female sockets. Two sockets continue the main pipe run, while the third socket connects the branch pipe at the specified angle.
Side access junctions have the access cap positioned on the side of the fitting, with left-hand and right-hand configurations available. Rear access junctions have the access cap positioned at the rear of the fitting. The access cap can be removed when access to the inside of the pipework is required and refitted afterwards.
The sockets fit over PVC DWV pipe of the matching nominal size and are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe is identified by its nominal size, which may differ from its measured outside diameter. Please confirm the correct DWV pipe size before ordering.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
