DWV Repair Coupling Two Piece (Clamp Style) 150mm is designed to repair nominal 150mm PVC DWV pipe where there is not enough space or pipe movement to install a conventional one-piece coupling.
The coupling separates into two halves so it can be positioned around the outside of the pipe after the existing and replacement pipe sections have been aligned. A rubber seal fits around the pipe, and the two coupling halves are secured together using retaining clips.
This 150mm coupling is designed for nominal 150mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 160mm outside diameter.
The split design is particularly useful in confined spaces because the coupling does not need to be slid along the pipe before the replacement section is positioned. When a damaged pipe section is cut out and replaced, one two-piece repair coupling is normally used at each end of the replacement section.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
