PVC DWV Male Iron Coupling 50mm x 50mm (2") BSPM has a 50mm PVC DWV socket at one end and a 50mm (2") male BSP thread at the other.
The 50mm socket fits over PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 56mm outside diameter. The 50mm (2") male BSP thread screws into a fitting or component with a matching female BSP thread.
Join the socket to the pipe using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 50mm pipe size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter. Although both connections have a nominal 50mm size, one is a DWV socket and the other is a male BSP thread.
The fitting body is made from PVC-U.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
