PVC DWV plain junctions male-female are used to connect a branch pipe into a main pipe run.
Each junction has two female sockets and one pipe-size spigot. One female socket continues the main line, while the second female socket connects the branch pipe. The pipe-size spigot forms the other end of the main run.
The two female sockets fit over PVC DWV pipe of the matching nominal size. The pipe-size spigot has the same approximate outside diameter as matching pipe and fits inside the socket of another matching PVC DWV fitting.
The connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
PVC DWV pipe is identified by its nominal size, which may differ from its measured outside diameter. Please confirm the correct DWV pipe size before ordering.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
