PVC DWV Plain Junction 45° MF 100mm is used to connect a 100mm branch pipe into a matching main pipe run at a 45° angle.
The fitting has two female sockets and one pipe-size spigot. One socket continues the main line, while the second socket connects the branch pipe. The pipe-size spigot forms the other end of the main run.
Both female sockets fit over 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter. The 100mm pipe-size spigot also has an approximately 110mm outside diameter and fits inside the socket of another matching 100mm PVC DWV fitting.
The connections are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
