PVC DWV I.O. Bend FF 90° 80mm is used to create a 90° change in direction in matching PVC DWV pipework while providing a capped inspection point.
The bend has a female socket at both ends. Both sockets fit over 80mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 82mm outside diameter.
The capped inspection opening provides access to the inside of the pipework when the system needs to be inspected, tested or maintained. The cap can be removed when access is required and refitted afterwards.
The sockets are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 80mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
