DWV Vinyl Floor Waste Open Grate Chrome Brass 100mm x 100mm is designed specifically for sheet vinyl flooring, providing a secure transition between the vinyl floor covering and the DWV drain.
Unlike a conventional floor waste where the floor finish simply terminates around the grate, this floor waste uses a two-piece vinyl clamp system. The sheet vinyl is secured into the floor waste around the drainage opening, helping create a neat and purpose-made finish at the drain.
The open chrome brass grate allows water from the surrounding floor to enter the waste, while the plastic body connects the floor waste to the DWV drainage pipework.
This 100mm x 100mm version uses a solvent-weld outlet. The connection is joined to compatible PVC DWV pipe using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement.
Suitable for non-pressure floor drainage applications using sheet vinyl flooring.
