PVC DWV Female Iron Coupling 50mm x 50mm (2") BSPF has a 50mm PVC DWV socket at one end and a 50mm (2") female BSP thread at the other.
The 50mm socket fits over PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 56mm outside diameter. The 50mm (2") female BSP thread accepts a fitting or component with a matching male BSP thread.
Join the socket to the pipe using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 50mm pipe size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter. The 50mm DWV socket and 50mm (2") BSPF thread identify separate connections.
The fitting body is made from PVC-U.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
