PVC DWV Side Access Bend 88° FF 100mm is used to create an 88° change in direction in matching PVC DWV pipework while providing access to the inside of the line.
The bend has a female socket at both ends. Both sockets fit over 100mm PVC DWV pipe with an approximately 110mm outside diameter.
An access cap is positioned on the side of the bend. The cap can be removed when access is required for inspection, cleaning or clearing the pipework and refitted afterwards.
The sockets are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ.
The stated 100mm size is nominal and does not equal the measured pipe outside diameter.
PVC DWV pipe and fittings are suitable for use in stormwater, sewerage, wastewater, vent, and other non-pressure applications.
