DOL starters with 24VAC control coils are used for Direct-On-Line starting and stopping of suitable electric motors. They include a contactor and overload relay assembly inside an enclosure, with front-mounted start and stop push buttons for local motor control.

These starters are selected by control coil voltage, overload relay range and the motor full-load current. The 24VAC rating refers to the starter control coil, not the motor supply voltage. Confirm the motor current, supply voltage, overload setting and installation requirements with a licensed electrician before ordering.
