Wafer butterfly valves provide manual shutoff and flow adjustment in larger flanged water pipework. A disc turns inside the valve body to open or close the passage. The wafer body fits between two supporting flanges, creating a compact installation. The 100mm and 150mm cast iron valves have stainless steel discs, EPDM seats and Table D flange compatibility.
The EPDM seat seals against the disc as it closes. These wafer valves rely on a flange on each side to secure the body in the pipeline. Their lever and notch plate provide selectable positions for manual operation.
Match the valve, flanges and pipe bore, and provide clearance for the disc to turn without contacting adjoining pipework. Cold working pressure is 1600kPa for the 100mm & 150mm models.
