The Bermad red C setting spring provides an outlet adjustment range of 100-200kPa when fitted to the compatible 25mm PRV pressure reducing valve.
The spring works against the valve’s pressure-responsive diaphragm. Changing the setting screw alters the spring force to set the required downstream pressure within the spring’s range. The valve then modulates its opening as demand or inlet pressure changes.
Use it to replace the existing setting spring or change the adjustment range of a compatible PRV. The spring determines the available setting range; it does not provide a fixed outlet pressure on its own.
The replacement spring is supplied separately. The PRV body, diaphragm and other valve components are not included.
