This 20mm (3/4") Philmac blue-handled poly ball valve provides manual on/off control for irrigation, rural water supply and plumbing pipework. Water can pass through in either direction, and the valve can be installed at any angle. The blue handle sits inline when open and across the body when closed, making its position easy to identify.
Glass fibre reinforced nylon body and handle; glass fibre reinforced nylon alloy end caps; polypropylene seal rings; acetal ball; nylon spindle; 316 stainless steel screws; nitrile O-rings.
Pressure: 1600kPa static shutoff at 20°C. Temperature: Cold water below 20°C.
Apply PTFE tape or an approved sealant to the male fitting. Tighten using the valve end caps, keeping tools off the centre body. Close the handle gradually to reduce the likelihood of water hammer.
