This Eclipse cutter handles wire and rope cutting in agricultural, garden, automotive and marine work. Its hardened, angled blades shear through the material, with a spring-loaded head that helps reopen the jaws between cuts.
Recommended capacity depends on the material. It cuts mild steel strand and unarmoured electrical cable up to 6.5mm in diameter, with lower limits for high-tensile rope, rod and spring wire. The material-specific limits and steel-strength conditions are listed in Specifications.
The 200mm hand tool has non-slip rubber grips for control during cutting. Its compact head is suited to individual cuts when preparing wire, rope or cable to length.
