Poly rural tapping saddles are used to create a Female BSP threaded take-off from rural PE pipe without cutting out the main pipe section. They are commonly used for rural water supply, stock water, irrigation and general farm water systems where a branch, riser, valve or threaded outlet needs to be added to an existing rural poly pipe line.
This range includes single-bolt and double-bolt rural tapping saddles in selected pipe and Female BSP thread sizes. Single-bolt models use a hinged saddle design to help with clamping around rural pipe, including installations in narrow trenches. Rural tapping saddles are suitable for above or below ground installation, provided the pipe surface is clean and un-scoured before fitting. Confirm the pipe size, thread size, bolt configuration and system pressure before ordering.
