This pink Titaseal thread seal tape wraps around male pipe threads before the joint is assembled. The high-density PTFE compresses between the mating threads to fill small gaps and help form a seal.
The tape also lubricates the threads as the fittings tighten together. It is non-adhesive and stays on the thread as a sealing layer within the assembled joint.
The roll is 12mm wide and contains 30m of tape. It is supplied on a spool with a protective cover.
