Stainless Steel 316 Hex Plug 32mm has a 32mm (1 1/4") male BSP thread. It blanks off an unused female threaded fitting, outlet or pipe connection.
The hex head provides a grip for a spanner during installation.
Made from grade 316 stainless steel, the fitting provides a corrosion-resistant threaded connection. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape on the male BSP thread before installing into a female connection.
Avoid joining brass, galvanised and stainless steel fittings directly to one another. Use a plastic or other suitable non-conductive fitting or adaptor between different metals to prevent galvanic corrosion where water is present.
