Stainless Steel 316 Coupling 40mm has 40mm (1 1/2") female BSP threads at both ends. It joins two male threaded fittings or pipe ends in a straight line.
Made from grade 316 stainless steel, the fitting provides a corrosion-resistant threaded connection. Use suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape on the mating male BSP threads.
Avoid joining brass, galvanised and stainless steel fittings directly to one another. Use a plastic or other suitable non-conductive fitting or adaptor between different metals to prevent galvanic corrosion where water is present.
