UV-resistant construction and a stainless steel adjustment screw provide durability. The supplied filter helps prevent clogging and keeps distance adjustment working correctly. The top adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance while the 90° pattern stays fixed.
At 210 kPa pressure, the nozzle waters a 2.4 metre radius. Radius is the distance from the sprinkler to the outer edge of the spray. Flow is 1.00 L/min at this pressure. In the 8Q name, 8 identifies the 8-foot radius class and Q identifies quarter-circle coverage.
Rain Bird MPR and HE-VAN nozzles have compatible matched precipitation rates when installed with appropriate spacing. Precipitation rate describes how quickly water is applied across the area.
Female nozzle thread suits Rain Bird 1800 sprinkler bodies. Sprinkler body sold separately. The nozzle can also be used with matching shrubhead adaptors where pop-up is not required, typically installed on top of a riser.
