PVC pressure valve takeoff adapters are PVC-U fittings with a solvent-weld spigot at one end and a male BSP thread at the other. They connect a matching PVC pressure fitting socket to a female BSP threaded valve, pump, filter or other compatible fitting or equipment.
The spigot inserts into a matching PVC pressure fitting socket and is joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ. The male BSP end connects to a matching female BSP thread.
PVC fitting sizes are nominal, so the stated spigot size is different from its measured outside diameter. Confirm both the matching socket size and BSP thread size before ordering.
