PVC Pressure Faucet Socket 25mm x 25mm (1" x 1") BSPF is a PVC-U fitting with a 25mm solvent-weld socket at one end and a 1" female BSP thread at the other. It connects PVC pressure pipe to a matching male BSP thread, such as those found on valves, pumps, filters and other compatible fittings or equipment. It suits PVC pressure pipe with a 33.6mm outside diameter.
The socket fits over the PVC pressure pipe and is joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. This joining method is known as a solvent weld joint, or SWJ. The female BSP end accepts a matching 1" male BSP thread.
The fitting is suited to residential, commercial and agricultural irrigation, garden and landscape watering, domestic and rural water supply, sprinkler installations, irrigation valves, pump and filter connections, pool and spa equipment, general water transfer and compatible PVC pressure pipework. Do not overtighten the PVC threaded connection.
