PVC Barrel Union Coupling 80mm (3") used to join two lengths of matching PVC pressure pipe while providing a removable centre connection. Both sockets suit PVC pressure pipe with an 88.9mm outside diameter.
The sockets fit over the PVC pressure pipe and are joined using PVC priming fluid and pressure-rated solvent cement. Once installed, the centre union can be assembled or disassembled when access to the pipeline, equipment or connected components is required without cutting the pipe.
Manufactured from rigid PVC-U, the barrel union coupling is suited to residential, commercial and agricultural irrigation, garden and landscape watering, domestic and rural water supply, pump systems, filters, pool and spa equipment, general water transfer and compatible PVC pressure pipework.
