Puretec FP10B is a single 10" filter housing kit with grey bowl, designed to suit compatible 10" filter cartridges. It has 3/4" / 20mm connections and can be used for sediment, taste, odour or other filtration duties depending on the cartridge selected.

The FP10B has a 0–38 Lpm flow range, 0–875 kPa pressure range and 0–52°C temperature range. The kit includes a mounting bracket and spanner wrench, but the filter cartridge is not included. Confirm cartridge compatibility, connection size, pressure, mounting space and installation requirements before ordering.

✓ Installation Type
Suitable for internal or external installation. Avoid direct sunlight and protect the housing from water hammer.

✓ Mounting Clearance
Allow at least 50mm clearance below the housing bowl for cartridge changes.

✓ Recommended Cartridge Selection
Cartridge selection depends on the application. Puretec guide examples include PX051 for dirt, rust and sediment on mains water, GC051 for taste and odour on mains water, PL051 for dirt, rust and sediment on rainwater, and DP101 for taste and odour on rainwater.

✓ Cartridge Maintenance
Replace cartridges every 6–12 months, when water flow is reduced, or when taste or odour returns. Replacement timing depends on cartridge type, water quality and usage.

✓ Installation
Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber and must follow local plumbing requirements. Use PTFE thread seal tape on FP housing connections; liquid pipe sealants must not be used.

✓ Water Quality Note
Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

✓ Warranty
10 year Puretec warranty – 1 year parts and labour plus 9 years parts only.
