Puretec BoreSafe Blast5 5kg is a granular bore cleaner used to break down iron build-up in bores, bore pumps and pipework. It helps reduce rust, unpleasant odours, orange-brown staining and mineral deposits caused by iron deposits in bore water applications.

BoreSafe Blast5 is a biodegradable granular formula that must be dissolved in water before being added to the bore. The required amount depends on bore diameter, water depth and whether the bore needs a standard maintenance dose or a shock dose. Recirculate and flush the system according to the Puretec instructions, and follow the product label and SDS before use.

Helps break down iron oxide deposits that can restrict pipework, affect bore flow, create odours, cause orange-brown staining and add strain to the pump.

✓ Dose Calculation
Calculate the water depth in the bore, then multiply the Puretec dosage guide amount for the bore diameter by the depth of water in the bore.

✓ Mixing Requirement
Dissolve the required amount of BoreSafe Blast5 in water before applying. Use 10 litres of water for every 1kg of BoreSafe Blast5.

✓ Application Method
Divert the bore discharge back down the bore so the system recirculates, provided this is within the pump specifications. Pour the dissolved product down the bore while the system is recirculating.

✓ Recirculation Time
Leave the system recirculating for 6–8 hours after dosing.

✓ Flushing
Move the discharge line away from the bore and flush treated bore water safely away from the bore. Continue flushing for at least one hour after colour and odour disappear from the discharge line.

✓ Safety Classification
Hazardous, non-Dangerous Goods. Causes skin irritation, serious eye damage and may cause respiratory irritation. Read the SDS before use.

✓ Safety Directions
Wear suitable gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection. Avoid skin contact, eye contact and inhaling dust. Keep out of reach of children.

✓ Discharge Note
BoreSafe Blast5 is biodegradable, but treated flush water may contain dislodged iron. Avoid foliage and areas that could be damaged or stained by the discharge.

Use only as directed. Dosage and treatment results depend on bore diameter, water depth, iron loading, bore condition and flushing procedure.
