This 40mm (1 1/2") Bermad quick-action pressure relief valve opens when line pressure rises above the selected setting. A pressure-relief pilot controls the hydraulic diaphragm valve so it opens promptly during the pressure rise, releasing water from the line. It closes smoothly when pressure returns below the setting, with female BSP connections joining the assembly to pipework.
