Pope mechanical tap timers provide simple manual-start watering with automatic shutoff from a standard garden tap. Available in 2 hour and 6 hour models, they are suited to hose watering, sprinklers, drip lines and spray systems where a full electronic controller is not required.
These timers are mechanical, so no batteries are required. Turn the dial to the desired watering duration and the timer will shut off automatically once the selected time has elapsed. This makes them useful for customers who want a simple way to avoid leaving the tap running.
The 2 hour model allows watering in 5 minute increments up to 120 minutes, while the 6 hour model allows watering in 15 minute increments up to 360 minutes. Both models include a universal swivel tap nut to suit 20mm or 25mm BSP taps, manual override for untimed water flow and UV stabilised plastic construction.
Suitable for standard tap-based watering applications only. Not recommended where water pressure exceeds 1000kPa, where bore or unfiltered water is used, where a pump is used to draw water, or for commercial applications.
