The Orbit B-Hyve 12 Station Indoor/Outdoor WiFi Controller is a smart irrigation controller designed for larger residential and light commercial watering systems. It provides app-based programming from a compatible Apple iOS or Android smart device, while still allowing programming directly at the controller.
The controller includes 4 programs, 4 start times per program, 1–240 minute station run times, seasonal adjustment, rain delay, watering history and smart watering features. It can operate with or without WiFi, with programmed schedules stored in non-volatile memory so watering settings are not lost if power is interrupted.
When connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, the B-Hyve controller can use WeatherSense™ technology to adjust watering based on local weather and site conditions such as soil type, slope, sun or shade and plant type. Bluetooth pairing is used during setup, with full programming and smart features managed through the B-Hyve app.
The indoor/outdoor model includes a lockable cabinet, swing panel access to the wiring terminals and conduit knock-outs for station wiring.
