Anka spring-loaded poly check valves allow cold water to flow in one direction and close automatically against reverse flow. Threaded connections in 20mm-50mm sizes suit irrigation, plumbing and other cold-water pipework. Glass fibre reinforced nylon construction and a spring-loaded plunger provide non-return operation without a manual handle, and the valve can be taken apart for cleaning.
Forward water flow opens the plunger; the spring returns it to the seat when flow stops. Unlike a foot valve, this check-valve configuration has no intake screen.
These valves can be installed at any angle. Fit them in the correct direction of flow and leave access for cleaning and maintenance.
