The Hunter ROAM Remote Control System is a handheld wireless remote designed for convenient irrigation controller operation from a distance. Compatible with Hunter controllers fitted with a SmartPort® connection, the ROAM allows users to manually start and stop stations or programs without needing to access the controller directly.
Suitable for residential and light commercial irrigation systems, the ROAM is commonly used for maintenance checks, troubleshooting, system commissioning and routine irrigation management. The handheld transmitter features simple push-button operation, programmable run times and support for up to 240 stations, providing flexibility across a wide range of irrigation installations.
The system includes a transmitter, receiver and SmartPort® wiring harness. With up to 300 metres line-of-sight operating range, the ROAM provides reliable wireless communication while maintaining existing controller programming. Manual run times can be set from 1 to 90 minutes without affecting automatic irrigation schedules. Compatible controllers include Hunter X-Core®, X2™, Pro-C®, HPC, ICC2, HCC, ACC2 and selected legacy Hunter controllers.
