K-RAIN RPS SELECT 111MM POP-UP ROTOR

K-Rain RPS Select 111mm pop-up rotor for turf irrigation. Four built-in nozzle settings let you adjust flow to suit the arc with a turn of a screwdriver. This helps balance watering across the zone, with no loose nozzle inserts to change.

✓ Inlet: 20mm BSP female
✓ Coverage: 10–14 metre radius across nozzle settings
✓ Spray Pattern: Adjustable 40°–360°
✓ Operating Pressure: 210–480 kPa
✓ Flow: 4.9–25.7 L/min across nozzle settings at 207–345 kPa
✓ Pop-Up Height: 111mm

K-Rain RPS Select 111mm Pop-Up Rotor for turf irrigation.

Four built-in nozzle settings let you adjust flow to suit the arc with a turn of a screwdriver. This helps balance watering across the zone, with no loose nozzle inserts to change.

Coverage is a 10–14 metre radius across the nozzle settings. Operating pressure is 210–480 kPa.

The spray arc adjusts from 40° to 360° at the top of the sprinkler. The top radius adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance.

The body has a 111mm pop-up height and a 20mm (3/4") BSP female inlet. Its overall height when retracted is 187mm. The nozzle trajectory is 24°.

Warranty: Five years.

K-Rain RPS Select Gear Drive Sprinkler Installation Guide

✓ Product Type and Application
K-Rain RPS Select gear drive pop-up rotor for turf irrigation, with a 111mm pop-up height and four selectable built-in nozzles.

✓ Dimensions and Connection
20mm (3/4") BSP female inlet.
111mm pop-up; 187mm overall body height when retracted.

✓ Coverage and Arc
10–14 metre radius across the four nozzle settings.
Adjustable arc: 40°–360°.

✓ Pressure & Flow
Operating pressure: 210–480 kPa.
Flow across the four nozzle settings at the tabulated 207–345 kPa test pressures: 4.9–25.7 L/min.
See ‘Precipitation Rate’ below for how the arc setting affects the amount of water applied across the area.

✓ Nozzles and Performance
Four selectable built-in nozzle settings. Match the nozzle setting to the arc when combining different patterns on a zone.
Factory setting: nozzle 2 with a 180° arc.
24° trajectory.

Four built-in nozzle settings.
Example comparison at 310 kPa, before radius reduction:
Setting 1: 11.3 metre radius; 6.1 L/min.
Setting 2: 12.2 metre radius; 12.1 L/min.
Setting 3: 12.5 metre radius; 17.8 L/min.
Setting 4: 13.7 metre radius; 24.2 L/min.

✓ Radius and Arc Adjustment
Set the arc from the top of the sprinkler. The radius adjustment screw lets you shorten the watering distance.

✓ Sprinkler Spacing
Spacing is the distance between neighbouring sprinklers.
For head-to-head coverage, each sprinkler throws water far enough to reach the next sprinkler. This overlap helps water the area between them evenly.
Use the actual watering distance after adjustment when planning the spacing.
A square layout places sprinklers on a square grid. A triangular layout uses staggered rows.

✓ Precipitation Rate
Precipitation rate describes how quickly water is applied across the area, measured in millimetres per hour.
For example, with nozzle setting 2 at 310 kPa, a 180° half-circle arc and sprinklers spaced 12.2 metres apart:
Square layout: 10 mm/hour.
Triangular layout: 11 mm/hour.
At the same pressure, the same nozzle uses essentially the same flow whatever the arc setting. A smaller arc concentrates that water over a smaller area.
The nozzle selector is separate from the arc adjustment. Recommended settings: 1 for 40°–135°, 2 for 136°–225°, 3 for 226°–315° and 4 for 316°–360°. Check the watering distance as well as the selector setting to maintain head-to-head coverage.
Where suitable nozzle combinations cannot provide similar watering rates, put sprinklers with different watering rates on separate zones so their run times can be set independently.

✓ Warranty
Five years.
