Grundfos UNILIFT AP50.50.11.A1V handles dirty stormwater, groundwater and suitable non-aggressive wastewater, with a maximum flow of 499.8L/min and maximum head of 12m. These are separate limits. Actual flow depends on lift and pipe resistance; use the matching 50Hz curve to assess expected flow.
The vertical outlet is 50mm (2") Rp / BSP female. Maximum spherical particle diameter is 50mm. Suitable for water containing small amounts of suspended solids, but not stones, long fibres, aggressive or flammable liquids.
Suitable uses include collecting pits, dirty stormwater, groundwater lowering, suitable laundry and bathroom wastewater, and suitable septic-system effluent. This model excludes sewage and toilet discharge.
The supplied tethered float starts and stops the pump automatically. Adjust its free cable length to set the difference between start and stop levels, and maintain free float movement.
The motor cooling jacket supports continuous running without scheduled cooling rests while partly submerged, provided the entire inlet strainer remains submerged in the liquid being pumped. Do not run dry.
Install on a firm base clear of sludge and mud. Allow a minimum pit diameter of 550mm and depth of 600mm at the minimum free float-cable setting. Maximum installation depth is 7m with the 10m cable; leave at least 3m of cable above liquid level. Lift by the handle. A union, non-return valve and isolating valve are recommended for permanent pipework.
Supply is 220-240V single phase, 50Hz. Input P1 is 1.6kW and motor output P2 is 1.1kW. A 10m cable and Australian plug are supplied. Internal thermal overload protection resets after cooling; no separate motor-protection control box is needed.
The housing and vortex impeller are AISI 304 stainless steel. Liquid temperature is 0-55°C and pH is 4-10. The removable inlet strainer gives access for cleaning.
