The Toro 570Z LP is a pop-up sprinkler body for lawn and landscape irrigation, with a riser that extends 12 inches (300mm) above the body during watering. The taller riser provides extra clearance above surrounding planting. When the system switches off, the riser retracts into the body. The sprinkler is 395mm tall with the riser retracted.
The body has 15mm (1/2") female-threaded inlets at the bottom and side for easy installation. It accepts male-threaded nozzles designed for Toro 570 bodies, including Toro 570 fixed and adjustable nozzles, male-threaded Toro Precision nozzles and male-threaded Hunter MP Rotator nozzles. Coverage, spray pattern and flow depend on the nozzle fitted. Nozzle sold separately.
A stainless steel spring retracts the riser after watering, while the wiper seal prevents flushing around the riser as it rises and allows flushing as it retracts to help clear debris. The body operates within a pressure range of 100–520 kPa, with the required watering pressure determined by the selected nozzle.
The pop-up body is supplied with a red flush plug. After installing the sprinkler body and before fitting a nozzle, run water through the system to flush dirt and debris that may have fallen into the pipe line during installation.
