Black PVC fire reel hose provides flexible water delivery for fire hose reels and general water-transfer work. The reinforced hose is supplied in 19mm and 25mm bore, cut by the metre or as complete rolls. Select the bore and supplied length to suit the hose run. Steel reels store and rewind the hose, with fully fitted assemblies or reels with fittings for a separately fitted hose and nozzle.
The 19mm (3/4") hose is available per metre and in 20m, 36m, 50m and 100m rolls. The 25mm (1") hose is available per metre and in 20m, 30m and 100m rolls. Per-metre hose and full rolls are supplied as hose, without a reel or nozzle.
The reinforcement supports the hose wall under internal water pressure while retaining flexibility for winding onto a reel. The hose working pressure is 1000kPa (145psi). Flow at the nozzle depends on the hose bore, length and available inlet pressure.
The hose is intended for fire reel use and general water delivery. Its standard reference is AS/NZS1221. Hose bore is the internal diameter used when selecting hose tails and other hose-end connections.
Steel reel assemblies include HRFF19 with 25m of 19mm hose and a nozzle, and HRFF25 with 20m of 25mm hose and a nozzle. The HRSR40-18F and HRSR40-25F reels suit 19mm and 25mm hose respectively and are supplied assembled with fittings, without hose, hose clamps or nozzle. Hand cranks rewind the hose onto the powder coated steel drums.
