DWV floor grates provide a finished grated opening into a non-pressure DWV drainage system, allowing water from the floor area to enter the drain while helping prevent larger debris from entering the pipework.
This range includes white plastic floor grates with a pipe-size spigot and chrome brass bayonet floor grates. The white spigot versions are solvent welded into a matching DWV socket connection. The chrome brass bayonet versions drop directly into matching DWV pipe and use a removable bayonet-style grate.
Different grate shapes and finishes allow the floor waste to be matched to the surrounding floor and installation. These floor grates are suited to applications such as bathrooms, laundries and other wet areas where a grated floor drainage point is required.
Spigot versions are joined using PVC priming fluid and suitable non-pressure PVC solvent cement. Bayonet versions use a drop-in connection and do not require solvent welding to the DWV pipe.
