Hunter Rain-Clik sensors help prevent unnecessary watering by stopping irrigation when rainfall is detected. Wired Rain-Clik sensors connect directly to a compatible irrigation controller, while Wireless Rain-Clik kits use a transmitter and receiver where running sensor cable is less practical.
Both models use Quick Response Technology to trigger rain shutoff without waiting for a set amount of rainfall to accumulate. An adjustable vent ring controls how quickly the sensor dries and resets after rain, allowing the reset period to be shortened or lengthened.
The wired RAIN-CLIK sensor has a mounting arm and 7.5m of cable for connection to the controller. The WR-CLIK wireless kit includes the Wireless Rain/Freeze-Clik Sensor, receiver and gutter mount. The wireless sensor also stops irrigation at approximately 3°C and communicates with the receiver over a line-of-sight distance of up to 243m.
Rain-Clik sensors are compatible with most normally open or normally closed irrigation controllers. Mount the sensor where it receives unobstructed rainfall and is clear of sprinkler spray. The wireless sensor has a sealed, maintenance-free battery, and kits are supplied with the transmitter and receiver paired.
