These brass ball valves provide manual water isolation at meter connections and other threaded water-supply points. The straight male x female valves connect inline, while the female x female right-angle meter stops turn the connection through 90 degrees. Both configurations are listed in 20mm and 25mm, allowing the valve layout to be matched to the adjoining pipework.
Choose the connection arrangement before choosing size. The straight valves have one male and one female connection; the right-angle versions have two female connections. Their maximum water pressures differ: 1600kPa for the straight valves and 2500kPa for the right-angle meter stops.
A quarter-turn handle opens or closes the ball valve. The straight valves have a lockable brass handle. Keep the handle accessible for isolation and any fitted lock.
Inline male x female valves have a maximum water pressure of 1600kPa. Right-angle female x female valves have a maximum water pressure of 2500kPa.
