32mm PE100 compressed-air pipe rated PN25 in a 6 metre straight length, with an approximate 4.4mm wall thickness. Designed for fixed compressed-air distribution systems in workshops, factories, compressor rooms and industrial facilities.
For compressed-air service, the permissible operating pressure is 1600 kPa at 20°C. This is lower than the pipe’s PN25 water-pressure classification because compressed-air system design uses an additional safety factor. The allowable operating pressure reduces as the operating temperature increases.
PE100 is a high-strength polyethylene grade used for pressure pipe. It is lightweight, corrosion resistant and has a smooth internal bore to support efficient airflow through the compressed-air system.
The blue base colour assists with compressed-air service identification in accordance with AS 1345. The pipe is manufactured to AS/NZS 4130 and AS/NZS 4131.
The pipe has a 32mm metric outside diameter and a nominal imperial equivalent of 1". Select fittings using the 32mm metric pipe size, and use only fittings and joining methods approved for compressed-air service.
Required pipe diameter depends on the system airflow, pipe-run length and distance from the compressor to the furthest outlet. Confirm the system design before installation to avoid excessive pressure loss.
Prices given on this page are for supply within Western Australia. Please contact us if you require longer coils of this pipe, or if you would like availability and pricing outside WA.
